I was about 15 kg overweight at the age of 25. What has helped me is advancing the timing of dinner and restricting the food intake at night time. Earlier , I used to take dinner at 9 pm and beyond and often used to consume noodles, rice or meat/chicken at that time. I have advanced the timing of dinner by two hours and reduced my overall food intake by about 30 percent. I have been doing this for over one year now and my weight has stabilised to 55 kg, an ideal weight for a female of my age (30) and and average / medium height. I also feel lighter and more energetic.
I am not in favour of powders or pills for oral intake that lay claims to weight reduction.
