Obesity

I am a 34 year old male. I have always been overweight, my BMI always beyond 26 and having even touched 30 in the past. I tried cutting down on calories—making all those calculations and then depriving myself even of delicious natural foodstuffs like mangoes, chikoos and bananas, besides sweets and sugary stuff.  My experience is that these things work temporarily and you feel that you are depriving yourself of the nutrient power of such natural items. I also felt weak and enervated at times while losing weight.

Aerobic exercises for short durations increased my appetite and made me regain weight faster than I shed it.

Since February 2017, I have started restricting my cereal intake to twice daily—little cereal items at breakfast and a full cereal meal at lunch. At night time, I take only fruit, followed by hot milk, if I feel too hungry.

I have shed 9 kg. in 4 months and I feel more energetic. And I am not doing heavy aerobics–only light short distance walks.
