I started having hiccups today morning and the hiccups won’t stop. Normally, it stops after drinking some water. I took some water in a glass and gulped it down. But the hiccups continued. I got worried and asked my father if it was serious and I needed to visit or consult a doctor. My father advised me to take a small piece of fresh ginger and chew it , swallowing its extract.
I did exactly as my father told me and was free from the troublesome hiccups in a few seconds.
