I had a nagging pain and stiffness in the neck. I consulted a physiotherapist who suggested some exercises. After those exercises over two weeks, I felt relief but only to the extent of 50 percent. Then , after discontinuing those exercises, the pain increased to the previous level. The physio suggested fomentation therapy.
I thought that the persistent pain might be due to some bad posturing. I found that I had developed a habit of watching TV not from the front but from the side and in the process, my neck never remained straight while watching TV.
I began watching TV from the front and that was the end of my neck-pain.
