Last year, I developed blockage in my ear and this was accompanied with 75 percent loss of hearing. The ENT specialist whom I consulted for treatment prescribed some antibiotic treatment and ear drops which did not prove effective. He next advised me to get an Audiogram done. Then my younger brother came to know of this and immediately advised me not to undergo the costly Audiogram test. He told me to perform a very simple home treatment.
As per his advice, I heated two small pieces of garlic in about 15 ml of mustard oil till the oil turned blackish in colour. I used this oil as ear drops once on that day and three times during the next day. By the morning of the third day, my ear and hearing were perfectly normal.
