I began to have strange problems with my GI tract four years ago. The symptoms were sudden and severe constipation and weight loss with no apparent reason. The diagnosis was made when bleeding started through rectum and I got myself examined by a surgeon. In Nov. 2012, I underwent surgery for removal of descending colon.
After radiotherapy and chemotherapy, I am fine now.
I never considered alternative line of treatment (Homoeopathy or Ayurveda).
My experience is that early diagnosis and surgical treatment is the best line of action in cancer.
